Training with bands can be somewhat confusing. I get a lot of questions on the best tempo to use when doing band workouts. Here's one question I've received:

The Question:

Dr. Stoppani,

I have a question about the JYM STRENGTH BANDS.  Do you always have to perform each repetition fast? For example, when using them for triceps, I'll do my reverse-grip kickbacks to hit the medial head in a fairly controlled manner; then, say, after the last set, I'll move to the lighest band and perform them fast to really get the blood in the triceps. I've seen you use bands both for slow, controlled reps and fast, explosive reps. So
